Spent two days last week (before it got nasty) between the Ridge Marina and Harbor Point, and landed several spots each day on the fly. All my fish were in or just off shallow structure in 8 to 12 feet of water, and I was just dragging the fly, very slow, through the wood. Great way to loose flies. Spent a lot of time slow cruising at depth, seeing a fair amount of bait balls in the thermocline, but didn't see much in the way of spots or line sides attacking. What do you think? The stripers shifting north already, or should I shift from Jumping rock to Kowaliga?

I saw that a friend on facebook caught a striped bass up by Jaybird landing on a fly rod. It was a schoolie sized fish, so I don't know if the big ones are up there or not.

Someone tell those stripes that there are tons of shad up Little Kowaliga just begging to be eaten.
