   One night a sentry on guard duty in no man's land during WW I looked back and saw the glow of a cigarette. "Put out that cigarette you stupid SOB. You can get shot," He yelled. 

  Immediately the gigaratte was extinguished and he heard fooy falls approaching. The sentry looked up and there stood Black Jack Pershing, the comander of Allied forces! I am dead thought the sentry.

  Pershing said, "Soldier, you were right in telling me to put out that cigarette. I should not have been smoking. Just thank God I wasn't a lieutenant!"
