Nope we paid ours back - its bad because its against the constitution - but not that you ever cared about that while a demonrat was in office.

Im fortunate that when i sign on GF's posts dissapear--So GF it became a bad program when your DEM friends proposed forgiveness--that signing a promissory note means Nothing-nor does SCOTUS ruling--so guess we can furlough the justices and all the employeees there ? -I am very proud of my daughter for repaying he medical loan--10 months to go--never missed a payment--HONORED HER DEBT--what did you teach your kids ? they dont have to pay back car loans either ? now yo bud AOC says those who dont have to pay back can use that money to travel to Europe ! sad state of affairs--So--heres a quetion--If the govt forgives federal student loans--why does the Fed student loan program still exist & still make loans ??? lots of employees in those depts so now they can be furloughed ? as they evidently arent needed ???

Interesting take on the situation.  Why are we still making "loans", if their is no plan to have them paid back?

So they can make sure that the people who pay for their "loans" pay them back as agreed to so that the people who get some sort of useless degree such as art history or PE can decide later decide to ignore their agreements.

During Covid with 0% interest my daughter continued to pay hers to knock down the principal and paid her crap off.
