I heard there were some big bags weighed in last weekend at a pot tournament. 1, 2, and 3 all had 19-20 lbs. and they were all cranking. The guy I was talking to said he thinks they were keying in on the bluebacks that got put in the lake. Has anyone heard or seen anything dealing with the blueback population?

Blueback herring. It’s a type of baitfish that was apparently introduced into the lake recently, last year I believe.

The stripes and spots will like them because bluebacks prefer deep water, but on the whole, they can be bad for fish populations.
