Power Tilt Trim Trouble

The engine is a 90HP Yamaha outboard. 2011 model year. The engine is in full down position. The pump groans when trying to tilt down. It does nothing when trimming up.
I have read previous posts about shorting terminals to test the up and down gizmo's. Can some one tell me where the pump is located along with the terminals to be shorted??
Thanks, Steve

I believe on your Yamaha, the trim soinoid is a two phase unit. I dont think I would recommend shorting it out. However, send power to the blue wire at the solinoid and it will go up.
